the FAT12 is hand-made by Finnish birch. FAT12 drum heads are made from heat-treated birch. This cajon snare drum sound is a really warm and sensitive snare. If you already have, for example, a cajon drum, the FAT12 snare drum is a perfect choice if you want to build your extended percussion setup.
